Community Garden Construction

Our Community Garden construction progress at the RHS Badminton show is going well and we're excited to share it with the public soon.


Seeing our location at the RHS Badminton show on the first few day of our build was such an exciting feeling and we're excited to get going on the garden representing our Hobbs Community Garden in West Sussex. It was so weird to see such an empty plot, only bordered with sleepers, and knowing what it will turn into in only 4 days!


 We got straight to work unpacking the vans, sorting the hard materials, getting the plants in to the shads, constructing the pergola, setting everything out the layout and paths.....and most importantly was the seating tea and snack gazebo!



We then moved on to fixing together our recycled material planter from sleepers and scaffold boards, setting out the wildlife pond and the testing the layout and height of our bamboo water rill. We're so happy with the progress from the first few days, there's still lots to do, but it's coming together well and great progress for day 1!
