A Season of Sunshine & Community Spirit
It has been an incredible few months at Hobbs Community Garden! Thanks to the sunshine and dedicated support from our wonderful volunteers and local community groups, the garden is bursting with life, productivity, and color.
Flourishing Produce & Pollinators
The recent warm months have brought amazing growth across our growing plots. Our raised beds are thriving with fresh herbs, crisp greens, round squashes, and ripening plum tomatoes soaking up the sun. Surrounding our edible crops, vibrant blooms from bright calendula and foxgloves to cosmos, which have drawn in plenty of pollinators, including visiting butterflies enjoying the foliage.
Site Improvements & Storage Upgrades
Our volunteers have been hard at work upgrading site infrastructure to make the garden more functional and welcoming for everyone:
Greenhouse Shelving: Custom wooden shelving from recyled pallets have been constructed inside the glasshouse to support future propagation.
Freshly Painted Bench: A garden bench has received a fresh coat of sage green paint, providing a cozy spot to rest and take in the view.
Shed Storage: Internal shelving, tool racking, and organization systems are well underway in the shed to keep all shared supplies neatly arranged.

Introducing Our 'Fair Share' Corner
We're excited to introduce our new Fair Share corner! Designed as an accessible area for community use, this space will continue to expand with shared resources, surplus produce, and gardening tools for local members to give and take freely.
Looking Ahead
With so much progress behind us, we're filled with excitement for the upcoming months of activities and volunteer sessions.
Thank you to everyone who has lent a hand, donated materials, or stopped by to cheer us on.
